Story

You are the lone defender of this gulf, you must survive the waves of enemies until reinforcements arrive. Do your best to not get overwhelmed by the enemies trying to sink your port!

Theme: Oversaturated
I struggled with this theme a bit to be honest, I ended up taking it to basically mean "Being overwhelmed" which is why I ended up doing a shoot 'em up type game. Also it's set mostly over water.

Mutators
I was hoping to use "Come on and Slam" but I didn't get as much dev time as I would have liked, so I couldn't implement camera shake because I didn't structure my scenes correctly from the get go.

If you count a tiny nod as using a mutator, then you could say I did "Sports" because my game is named "G.O.L.F" as an acronym. The reason for this is I originally planned to make a golf game but quickly realised I wasn't going to get my development time during this jam due to a lot of real life commitments, so I pivoted twice.

I got to the Victory screen once I worked out the trick.
Its a fun game, you have to treat it a bit differently to Space Invaders because of the continuous firing.

Nice job :)

Really clean UI.  I liked the gradient on the Defeat message.  Which is lucky as I saw it quite often.

I'm glad you enjoyed it Kathy! I did implement the level selector on the main menu because I realised I made the difficulty curve a little wonky and so hopefully everyone can get to see the victory screen
